I seriously need to find a new sewing obsession. My poor friends are going to get a pincushion for every birthday and Christmas until 2024. I just don't know what it is about them, but they are so hard to resist! Instant sewing gratification?!

My friend just had the most beautiful baby girl and I made her some bibs. I attached the flowers with safety pins, so they are easy to remove. The pic of the navy bib came out darker than it is - Photoshop and I are still working out the kinks in our relationship ;)

I've made gift boxes for the needle felted animals I posted earlier.Here is how to make them.List of supplies:2 x card stock/construction paperruler, pencil, scissors ribbonMaking your gift box:Cut two squares.Divide one square into 9 equal parts.Cut out the 4 corners.Fold the remaining sides up.Repeat the process with the second square.Fit the two parts together and tie with a ribbon.

I've wanted to try needle felting for the longesttime and found a very informative article here.It was loads of fun and a lot easier than it seemed.My animals are tiny, the brown teddy is just overan inch and the very-pink rabbit is about 3 inches.The rest range in between. :)
